In this digital artwork, "Through the Clouds," was inspired by my view out of the window on a plane ride back home to Canada from Mexico. I was looking out the window and taking in the beauty as I created this piece directly on the plane, using current view as the live reference. I painted the sky in vibrant hues of pink, purple, and blue. The wings of a plane soar gracefully through the colorful clouds, offering a sense of freedom and adventure. In through the cotton candy clouds, an eye sheds a single tear of joy, provoked by the beauty of the world below. With this piece I wanted to invite the viewers to join in the wonder and peace of the journey through the sky.
